This trip is about 90 Km and it takes about 5 hours to drive, including a few short. The trip takes us onto some small and winding roads as we head up into the mountains but don't worry our driver is very experienced who will bring us all back safely.
We drive to San Fernando where we turn to Fataga, also called the 1000 palms valley. Shortly after we come out of San Fernando we drive past an area where there is a replica of a canarian village which shows how the first humans lived on Gran Canaria. Here we take a break so you can get more information of how these people lived.

Then we continue to Fataga where we make a stop and  there is an opportunity should you require to buy souvenirs. Here is a little funny story about a particular toilet which I will tell you about later in our trip
TWe then continue a little further up on the island where you will see how different the nature is.
Now you can see the many almond trees along the road, they are easily recognizable by their black tribe. They bloom in February, and if you are here at this time of year, it is a "must" to take our almond-trip and enjoy the sight.
Now it's time for a drink and toilet break.
We continue and soon we come to one of the biggest water reservoirs on the island this reservoir supplies the island with drinking water, but of course the level of the waterdepends on rainfall.
We take a short break so we can take pictures of the road which with its many bends bring us down to Pueblo de Mogán.
Here we will have lunch - local tapas, and afterwards you can have walk around the beautiful village and maybe buy some fresh fruit before we get down to Puerto Mogan and take the highway back to Puerto Rico.

Please join us and enjoy this wonderful experience.
